张菊平，博士，教授，博士生导师，York University博士后，山西省三晋英才，中国数学会生物数学专业委员会委员，美国《数学评论》评论员，主要从事传染病的数学建模、分析及复杂网络上传播动力学研究。
先后主持国家自然科学基金项目4项，省部级项目6项，参与国家自然科学基金重点项目2项等，在JMB，BMB，MBS，JTB等期刊发表学术论文50余篇，获山西省科学技术奖（自然科学类）一等奖2项（排名第三、第四），山西省教学成果一等奖、二等奖各1项（排名第三），指导全国大学生数学建模竞赛获全国一等奖和二等奖等。
